You can activate Klarna via plugins or platform integrations. The integration journey will vary depending on the platform you’re on. For more information about different plugins and platforms, visit the Stripe Connectors page.

To add Klarna to your Stripe integration, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings > Payments > Payment methods.
  3. Confirm your logo, brand info, and contact emails are up to date. These details are shared with Klarna when you enable us as a payment method.
  4. (Optional) Toggle Test mode in your Stripe Dashboard to test the integration and customer flow without creating live transactions.
  5. On the list of payment methods, find Klarna and click Turn on.
  6. Review Stripe's best practices to optimize conversion and get the most out of Klarna.
