The Payments section holds the apps you use every day to run your business with Klarna. All of them show data for the account selected in the account selector.
Search and manage every order paid with Klarna.
All orders: search by customer name, email, reference, or order ID, and filter by creation date, expiry date, Store, and status. Export the results as a file.
To capture: orders waiting to be captured.
Expires soon: orders that expire soon if you don't capture them.
Settings: choose which email notifications you receive about new, expiring, and unacknowledged orders, and set up SFTP exports when available.
Open an order to see its order lines, amounts, addresses, payment method, and an activity log of every change and who made it. From the order page you can:
Capture all order lines or only some of them. Capture when you ship the goods, because the customer's payment schedule starts then. Capture by order line rather than by amount.
Refund all or part of a captured order.
Cancel an order that hasn't been captured yet.
Extend the expiry date of an uncaptured order to get more time to capture it.
Edit uncaptured order lines, for example to remove an item that's out of stock.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|
| Uncaptured | The order is authorized but not yet captured. Capture it before its expiry date |
| Partially captured | Some order lines are captured |
| Fully captured | All order lines are captured |
| Refunded | All or part of the order is refunded to the customer |
| Cancelled | The order was cancelled before capture and won't appear in settlements |
| Unacknowledged | Klarna created the order, but your system didn't confirm it. Check your integration and handle the order in Order manager |
Banners on the order page tell you when an order needs attention, for example when it's under fraud assessment, about to expire, or disputed.
See every payout from Klarna and download reports for your accounting.
Settlement Reports: each payout with its payment reference, Store, sales, fees, refunds, and payout amount. Download a report as CSV or PDF. Use Configure reports to choose the columns and format of your CSV reports.
Custom Reports: generate a CSV report of all transactions in a time period, including captured transactions that aren't settled yet.
Balance Reports: see your end-of-day balance for a Store on a given date, to close your books.
Invoices: download invoices Klarna issued to you, for example for fees, and check if they're paid.
Other Documents: additional documents Klarna shares with you, when available.
In the test environment, select Create test report to generate a settlement report from your test orders.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|
| Paid | Klarna sent the payout. It can take a few business days to reach your bank account |
| Processing | Klarna started the payout and is waiting for confirmation |
| Failed | The payout didn't go through. Check your bank details in Account information |
| N/A | No payout, for example because refunds exceeded sales |
Sell in your physical store with Klarna.
My store: set defaults for new orders, such as references and tax rate, import products for auto-completion, and turn on auto-capture.
New order: add order lines and send the customer a payment link by email or text message, or show a QR code.
Order history: follow the status of every in-store order. Completed orders also appear in Order manager.
Respond to customer disputes before their deadline to avoid chargebacks.
Open disputes: disputes waiting for your response.
Unauthorized: disputes where the customer doesn't recognize the purchase. These have shorter deadlines.
High-risk orders: orders Klarna flagged as high risk. Cancel them before shipping.
All disputes: every dispute and its status.
Statistics: dispute trends for your account.
Email & dispute settings: choose who gets dispute emails and how often, and set a chargeback threshold.
View your business details, bank details, and the agreements you signed with Klarna. Changes to your bank details are reviewed by Klarna before they apply. Bank details require two-factor authentication.
Complete the steps Klarna needs to activate payments, such as confirming your business details and adding your bank account. This app only appears while onboarding is open.
Follow step-by-step guides to integrate Klarna, tailored to the selected account.
